Working alongside a senior art director and two senior designers, I created and presented a mood board concept for a Reingold client, the US Department of Veterans Affairs. We developed our individual concepts separately while we shared ideas and checked in with each other throughout the process. During SAAPM and year-round, VA works to raise awareness of its services for survivors of military sexual trauma (MST), which refers to sexual assault or threatening sexual harassment that occurred during military service. To support this effort, I introduced a soft salmon color into the established palette to complement the existing tones and bring a more comforting, compassionate feel to the overall visual direction. My concept was met with a lot of insightful, encouraging feedback during both the design phase and after the full presentation with the client.
